We were lucky enough to visit Rick's (Anthony's younger brother) country house in Yandina (about an hour and a half from Surfers Paradise). It's a charming home with lots of land. I actually saw my first "wild" kangaroo from here...it was almost out of a movie as it bounded away. We built a fire, cracked macadamia nuts and Rick served up an awesome meal of mouth watering country pancakes with local honey.
