We had a wonderful visit in Queensland, but after a week we departed for Melbourne. We had the chance to see lots of friends and spend some serious time with Grandma - as seen in the first picture :) The girls absolutely adore their Grandma Marie! We also caught up with long time friends and had the spectacular opportunity to see an Aussie Rules Game (aka Footy) which you can see is playing behind us. I liked watching, but I really enjoyed the "seats" which was actually a warm and toasty restuarant above the field. We did venture outside for the last quarter and enjoyed the real experience of the game...super fun! We were also lucky enough to catch up with more friends and visit Montsalvat, an old Australian artist colony filled with beautiful architecture and art - the girls took center stage and put on a dance show in one of the studios. An amazing gem in Melbourne.
We also spent time at the Children's Garden at the Royal Botanical Garden which is always a treat for me. A visit with Anthony's eldest brother, David, was also in order as we celebrated his 60th birthday. The last picture is visiting our friends' offices for their family company Card & Caboodle (http://www.cardandcaboodle.com.au/). A true inspiration for my sister and me!
