Australia 2012 Part IV

The last stop before the long flight home was Brisbane.  I overheard someone say that Brisbane is like a big, country city.  True Story!  It's got a very urban vibe but the setting is lush with lots of open space.  In fact, it is set on a beautiful and long winding river.  You can hop on and hop off local city ferries and enjoy the views. The first pic is the girls and I on a ferry which we took across to South Bank...a lovely park with lots of fun sights, including the ginormous "Wheel of Brisbane"  Gwen dug the heights and adrenaline rush...me, not so much.  The rest of the pictures are good times at local cafes and ice cream shops with Rick and Marie.  Oh, and a kookaburra!
