Yesterday we went to the Sand Sculpting Challenge here in
San Diego with our dear friends, Ann & Molly.
We met them at the Solana Beach train station bright and early to take the Coaster downtown.
It all took place on the B Street pier. The sculptures really were outstanding!
Cass liked this one because it was all about hugs :)
But this was all of our favorites because it was so whimsical. It was neat to watch
artists from all over the world sculpting their creations.
The girls even did a little sand sculpting themselves ;)
Afterwards, we walked over to the waterpark and cooled off.
And after a "rough" day of viewing sand castles and enjoying the beautiful weather,
we hopped on the train for the 1/2 hour ride home with ocean views. Ahhh.
