We took a little road trip this weekend to the hot, hot, hot Mt. Helix. It's just a 40 minute drive from our house but the temperature increased by about 20 degrees! It was a 105 on top of this "mountain".
It was worth it though. Lovely 360 degree views of San Diego and Mexico, with a breeze and some shade, thank goodness.
Gwen brought her binoculars along so she didn't miss anything :)
