This past weekend marked the birthdays of both our girls!! We all were absolutely over-the-moon-excited to have our friends and family here share their special day.
It's funny, because as soon as we bought this house last year, all four of us agreed that we should have a pony/petting zoo party since we had the space for it...so we did :) The birthday started out with lemonade and hot pretzels for snack and then of course, pony rides and the petting zoo. Good old fashioned see-sawing, rope swinging, chalk drawing as well as face-painting (by our babysitter!) topped off the activities for the party. A fierce game of handball was also in the mix ;) We wrapped up the event with cake and ice cream. The cakes were made by Aunt Cathy - a black kitty for Cassie & Pink Power Ranger for Gwen. What a day!
