Halloween '12

We had a fantastic Halloween!  The day started with a Halloween parade at Cassie's school.  They cruised the hallways and the classrooms to show off their adorable costumes.  Cass was Little Red Riding Hood...such the perfect costume for her!  They then had a Halloween party in the classroom and I had the opportunity to run the craft table.  Super fun!  Gwen also wore her light up Fairy costume (so fitting) to dance class where they had a little Halloween party, as well.  Even cousin Mia came and joined the festivities.  It was Parent-Teacher conference week so both girls were finished early at school...so we carved pumpkins with our little black kitty cat.  At about dusk, a big group of us head out to trick or treat and we came back with tons of treats!  This year, though, the "Switch Witch" came while we were out and left fun toys that the girls could trade in candy for.  They were delighted and they don't even miss the candy :)

I love the switch witch idea! Did you come up with that on your own?
