Great Aunt Marilynn & Uncle John visit!

My Aunt Marilynn & Uncle John (my dad's other brother) came into town on Wednesday. Yay! We were fortunate to spend the day with them before they set sail for Hawaii. They took the train down from my parents house in LA and stopped here in Solana Beach for the day. After much catching up, we headed to Hotel Del Coronado where they treated us to lunch. Thank you! This is a pic of my Aunt Marilynn with the two girls at the hotel. It was so much fun and SUCH a beautiful day!

We then drove to National City to drop them off at their ship, the Jean Anne (that's it behind Cassie - it's gigantic). It's a cargo ship that carries cars/trucks/tractors to and from HI. There are owners quarters on board to take the trip from San Diego to Hawaii...takes about 4-5 days.

We were lucky enough to board the ship (before they departed) as well. It is an immaculate ship and really quite beautiful, awe inspiring. This is a picture of Anthony and the girls on deck.

We even had the opportunity to see the bridge and oh my, it was a sight. The views were amazing and the girls had a blast "steering" the boat and blowing the horn (super loud!)
