At Cassie's school, each student has the opportunity to be "Star of the Week"...well, it was Cassie's turn this week. This basically means they get to bring home Mr. Moose (as seen in all the pix), be a leader at school (as in she gets to wear a crown everyday and lead the class to recess) and we have to read If You Give a Moose A Muffin about a million trillion times.
Then, you have to take Mr. Moose on an adventure and document it for the rest of the class to see.
Seeing that we LOVE the beach so much, we thought it would be fun to see what would happen "If You Took a Moose to the Beach..." Both girls thought this was about the coolest thing ever... having a muffin snack (of course) at the beach with Mr. Moose.
While we didn't go for a swim, we did build sandcastles. Fun!
