FUNNY HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED...

Vacations are no longer about boutique hotels or quaint restaurants or 4 mile hikes to see the best waterfalls...they now involve tracking down playgrounds, spending time time at the pool and staying at reasonably priced hotels...and we loved every minute of our 1st family vacation to Idaho!

We set out to McCall on our first day there and really enjoyed the serene lake and picturesque town. Cassie got her first taste of homemade ice cream.
All the excitement put her right to sleep on the car ride back to Boise.

The next day we stayed in town and enjoyed the pool and the nearby parks.
We always stop to smell the roses.

It was a hot day so Cass and Dada cooled down by the water fountain.
She cried when we finally had to leave the beloved swing...

The pool was a major hit, but the Dora the Explorer chairs were the real winners...

We had to blow kisses and say bye-bye to them about a thousand times. It was very sweet.

All in all, a fantastic trip!
